Australian Bank Account for Backpackers
In order to receive your pay you will need an Australian Bank Account. There are a number of Australian Banks which have accounts suitable to backpackers.
ANZ have an excellent bank account for backpackers. The Commonwealth Bank, St George’s and NAB all also have banking support for backpackers. Contact your nearest bank and request a meeting to setup a current account. You will need to have your Australian Tax File Number with you when you open your Australian Bank Account.
