Full-time Breakfast Cook / Commis Chef

at Eco Beach Wilderness Retreat in Western Australia

Eco Beach Broome, located 127kms South west of Broome, offers both the guest and staff a unique experience to the Kimberley region.
Our Kitchen brigade currently has a vacancy for a Commis Chef / Breakfast Cook who is ready to join an innovative and fun team.
Duties and responsibilities will be varied due to the nature of this unique property. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in a la carte, buffet and function work. If you are passionate about cooking and dedicated to further enhancing your skills and knowledge then we would love to hear from you!
To be successful in the role you should have:
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar environment
• Appropriate qualifications and experience within the hospitality environment
• A passion for food and creative flair
• Experience in maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
• Self motivated and proactive approach
• Friendly and flexible disposition that encourages client and customer feedback and demonstrates a high level of professionalism at all times
This is a full time position on an Annualised Fixed Term basis until 10 January 2012. Eco Beach offer live in accommodation in a shared eco style tent, all meals and lodgings are supplied whilst working at Eco Beach. If you remain at Eco Beach on your rostered days off a small board and lodging fee is charged.
