BAR SUPERVISOR
at Spinifex Holdings in Western Australia
North West - Kimberley
This recently purchased hotel is undertaking major development in the coming months with the commencement of building a new hotel and accommodation facilities on the existing site. This historic hotel in Derby will continue to trade during the construction stage. The 90 room hotel and motel style accommodation will provide this growing town with a venue that is to surpass what is currently available for tourists, contractors for the surrounding projects and local residents.
We are currently seeking a well presented, passionate and focused Bar Supervisor
Your main responsibility is outlined below as Bar Supervisor however when the Hotel Manager is off site or rostered day off you will also be responsible for the general running of the Hotel overseeing the daily operations to include Bar, TAB and Restaurant and be the face of the Hotel when the Hotel Manager is offsite.
The Role
To be successful for your new role you will ideally meet the following criteria:
• Experience as a Duty Manager or similar position (RSA and WA approved manager qualifications)
• Exceptional customer service skills
• True leadership style where you lead from the front
• Exceptional understanding of food and beverage service
• Professionally presented and well groomed
• Flexible with your work hours
• Leading the team during shift
• Ensuring we consistently provide a customer focused environment
• Managing receiving, receipting & ordering of stock
• Minimising waste and following stock control measure within outlets
• Assisting with the induction and training of F&B Attendants
• Implementing and monitoring service operations & standards
• Ensuring clear & effective communication occurs with all other departments of the hotel
