Groom\Stable Hand \Rider
at Larissa in Queensland
Position exists for enthusiastic groom\stable hand in rural Queensland, working with Showjumpers.
We provide...............
-Seperate accomodation provided in air condidtioned demountable building
-Share bathroom
-Use of car (for responsible and appropriately licenced drivers)
-Meals provided
-small wage
-plenty of oppourtunity to travel (ie good blocks of time off)
-lessons with top quality qualified instructors (if desired)
Job will involve.............
-feeding horses (stabled, yarded and paddock)
-cleaning boxes and yards
-cleaning tack
-tacking up
-washing horses
-lunging
-riding on flat and or jumping (if capable\ non riders ok to apply as well!!)
-travelling to shows
You must be............
-enthuisastic
-willing to work (we aren't slave drivers! but you have to do what we do each day!)
-able to take instructions, and be responsible
- you must also be clean and tidy and be respectful of your living area, use of vehicles etc
-have experience with horses and be confident in performing at least basic tasks.
-have a sense of humour!
-genuinly enjoy working with horses.
