Target and Target Country have over 290 stores nationally, offering customers quality, on-trend fashionable apparel and soft homewares, underpinned by a strong house brand strategy. Our aim at Target is to provide the discerning customer with everything for themselves, their family and their home.

We now have a vacancy in our Target Condobolin store.
Condobolin is located within one hour drive from Parkes, Forbes, Lake Cargelligo, West Wyalong and a 2 hour drive from Orange and Dubbo and offers a unique and enviable rural lifestyle and boasts modern facilities, schools, shops, health services and exceptional range of recreational pursuits.

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for:
• Maximising sales and profit earnings through merchandising and customer service initiatives;
• Providing leadership to your team to ensuring customer service standards and department performance consistently exceeds business expectations;
• Coaching, development and mentoring of Team Members to ensure the Target culture is maintained.

Although not essential, it is preferred that you will have a successful track record in Retail Management and a passion and commitment to Health & Safety.

Your personal attributes will include:
• Self-motivation, confidence and a strong knowledge of all aspects of store operations;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to guide and inspire;
• Excellent time management and problem solving skills;
