Racing stables in SA looking for backpackers to help with mucking out and general farm duties , fun and lively working and you will get to see a lot and we like to party especially when we win .
That said we work very hard and long if you think you are upto working hard we can offer you a fun and beautiful place to work and a fantastic place to live only 200m from the beach with all you food provided .
An average day starts at 7am we all do the feeding and mucking out together ,then we work the horses either at the farm or the beach were you will help us tack up and wash off the horses after (once a week we go to the racetrack to work the horses ,we start at 5am) then finished by 12/1pm. 4-6pm we feed and muck out again and finish up for the day .
Training can be given ,the most important thing is that you work hard.
lf you have riding ability that is a plus but not essential.
$100+ a week all food and board included house right on the beach
