Media Sales Exec
at Future Publishing Australia in New South Wales
Do you have business experience of print and online media?
Can you develop new business and nurture relationships?
Do you have a genuine interest in triathlon and cycling, consumer technology, games, and or film and music?
We are seeking a versatile, confident, highly organised self starter. An individual who can work autonomously but who will contribute as a team player too. You’ll demonstrate strong numeracy and literacy skills, tenacity, confidence, commitment, willingness to learn, good personality and sense of humour. You may not currently be in a media sales environment, but you will have a genuine interest in what we do.
The sectors we operate in are competitive so you’ll need to demonstrate the ability to communicate confidently, create ideas, identify opportunities, and ultimately generate revenue.
Based in Sydney, Future Publishing Australia is part of Future Plc an international special-interest media company creating over 180 publications, websites and events, with strong portfolios in the technology, games, music, automotive and sports sectors. In the Australian market our business spans sport, music, technology and games, with a portfolio which continues to grow and evolve, and now reaching well over one million Australians every month.
Working closely within a four-person sales team, you’ll be given plenty of support and guidance, and every opportunity to seek out new business from the core and non-core sectors; to develop ideas; and to work with editorial and design colleagues to create concepts which integrate marketing and editorial concepts to drive commercial initiatives.
