Job Description

We are seeking an experienced cook or a qualified chef to join our team starting 22nd July 2024.

This person would need to be able to cook to order in a timely manner and present meals with attention to detail. You must have a passion for food and being part of a team that has an excellent reputation for serving high quality, Australian pub food. You must be able to work as part of a team and also by yourself. The person who fills this position needs to be able to cook steaks to order, keep a clean and food safe work environment, and present themselves in a clean and tidy manner at all times.

This is a great opportunity to save money for your next travels. Staff accommodation can be provided in a share house. If you have a car that would be a bonus as we are 42km from the nearest grocery store. Otherwise there is a bus service to town on weekdays, or you can ask other staff members to give you a lift when they are heading into town.

Busy country pub owned and run by young couple Danny & Natalie. They purchased the pub just over 12 months ago and since then they have done a number of renovations & refurbishments to update the old pub and breath some life back into the place. It is now thriving with locals regularly popping in for coffee, drinks and/or dinner. Travellers also camp overnight and visit the hotel both for lunch & dinner.
