Seasonal Orchard Worker At Family-run Kiwifruit Orchard

Our family-run kiwifruit orchard is seeking dedicated individuals for seasonal work during the summer. The role involves bud thinning, male flower picking, stringing, male pruning, and canopy management.


Responsibilities:
-Bud thinning
-Male flower picking
-Stringing
-Male pruning
-Canopy management


Requirements:
-Prior experience in farm work is essential; kiwifruit experience is advantageous but not required
-Minimum height of 168 cm required to safely reach and complete tasks on tall trellises
-Strong work ethic and reliability
-We aim to work 40 hours per week, subject to weather conditions
-On-site accommodation available for those with camper vans

Trial Period:
-A trial period will be conducted before the official start date to assess suitability for the role and ensure a good fit with our team.

Remuneration
-Award wage plus superannuation
