Unique opportunity, starting from October 2024.

We are offering a unique opportunity for an adventurous person to live the Au Pair dream of being part of a family farm, wonderful community and being surrounded by the beauty of the Australian country side while still being close enough to Canberra and Sydney to make it down for a long weekend.
We are a family owned business located 15km from Grenfell NSW.
We operate a mixed farming/ dry land operation (sheep, crops). You will gain experience living on a farm.
This is a part time opportunity working 25-30 hours per week, so flexibility is the key. Industry standard allowance, your own room and meals included. You must have your class C drivers licence or similar and ideally have had experience driving in Australia (city/ country). You will have access to the family car to fulfil your duties and so you can explore to region on your weekends/ days off. You will be an integral part of our family unit/team. We offer you opportunity to join the local community (i.e. sport, church).

We have twin girls aged 4 yrs. Duties will be refined however shall include: *) Assist with the routine for the children /family *) Pre-School drop off and/or pick up -( a class C drivers licence is a must. Vehicle is provided) *) Supervise afternoon activities/ play time *) Assist with house organising/ light cleaning

Working with children check and first aid certificate would be great.

It is essential that you are trustworthy, reliable, good communicator, keen to learn, and love working with children.

In addition there maybe opportunity for paid work on our farm during the busy seasons (harvest or sowing).
Any farm work is paid the award rate. Hours worked on the farm can contribute to 88 day visa.

We are a family owned business located 15km from Grenfell NSW.
We operate a mixed farming/ dry land operation (sheep, crops) and a contract olive harvesting business . Spanning two properties, "Inglevale" and "Inglewood", our land holding is 2210 acres. Our sheep management enterprise currently consists of Merino and Cross Bred Ewes joined to a terminal sire. Total stock under management is currently 3000 sheep. Our cropping enterprise currently spans both properties with the following grain/legume varieties being grown; wheat, canola, barley, lupins and oats.
