We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to assist an elderly gentleman living alone. This is a temporary live in position Monday to Friday assisting with daily living activities, handling driving needs, and supporting the client with cooking, cleaning, and other household tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Transportation and Errands:
Drive the client to medical appointments, social engagements, and other necessary outings.
Run errands as needed, including grocery shopping, pharmacy visits, and other household needs.
Ensure the client’s safety and comfort during transportation.

Household Assistance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment.
Perform regular cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, and laundry.
Help with organizing household items and managing household supplies.

Meal Preparation:
Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary preferences and health needs.
Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and food storage.
Ensure the client has access to balanced and enjoyable meals each day.

Qualifications:
Valid Australian driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Basic cooking skills with knowledge of nutritional needs for seniors.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment.

Remuneration:
You will be paid the basic wages under the NES with no charges for rent and outgoings. You will be employed for a period of three months which may be extended dependent on both parties' agreement.
