Wanted: Experienced Mechanic
Are you a skilled mechanic with a passion for fixing things?
We’re seeking a versatile and reliable mechanic to join us at our farm where we provide your own accommodation and meals in a beautiful picturesque home situated in the tranquil Yarra valley in exchange for mechanical work.
As a key member of our operation, you’ll work on a variety of vehicles, from cars and trucks to farm machinery.
Key Responsibilities: * Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in cars, trucks, and farm equipment * Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections * Prepare vehicles for sale by ensuring they are roadworthy and meet safety standards * Troubleshoot and fix hydraulic and pneumatic systems * Work independently and as part of a team * Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications: * Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills * Ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment * Experience with farm machinery (preferred)
