Our local subsidiary, Loedige Australia, is seeking an experience Mechanical Project Engineer, willing to work as part of an office-based project team. You will be expected to work in a supporting role for a senior project manager fulfilling the following roles:
- Oversee the assembly, erection and commissioning of mechanical installations.
- Study and analyse mechanical systems and components to assess performance and propose improvements.
- Inspect, maintain and test mechanical equipment, mechanical failures and maintenance issues.
- Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, standards, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
- When required, work onsite assisting site manager with supervision of works and sub-contractors
- Assist project coordination with sub-contractors/customer.
- Maintain project related reporting, records and submittal processes.
- Handle full spectrum of project related functions.

Key Requirements:
- Qualifications: Hold a mechanical/mechatronics engineering university degree.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- AutoCAD and MS projects are an advantage
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Analytical problem solving and decision making skills.
- Highly proactive and self-motivated
- Competent German language skills

- First-Aid license
