Commencing ASAP

Thousand Lakes Wilderness Lodge is seeking a positive and enthusiastic individual to join the team for a minimum of three months. This role will suit a highly competent person who is eager to experience the natural beauty of Tasmania as a local, is keen to increase their skillset, has the ability to work in a very small team or on their own, has a strong eye for detail and takes exemplary pride in their work standards and personal presentation.

**IMPORTANT – own car needed – location of this position does not qualify for Visa Extensions – DO NOT email or call the Lodge – only shortlisted applicants will be contacted**

DESCRIPTION:
• Housekeeping – previous experience required
• Food and beverage – assist with breakfast and dinner
• Presentation and cleanliness of Lodge lounge and public areas
• Assisting with additional tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the lodge and guest’s overall high standard of experience

REQUIRED:
• Previous housekeeping experience
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good written and verbal English language skills
• Has own transport
• Minimum commitment of 3 months (For the right person, potential opportunity to stay longer – and/or return for next summer season)
• Australian job referee – international referees will only be accepted if you haven’t yet worked in Australia
