We are seeking a Production Inventory Control & Forklift Leading Hand to join our dedicated team.

Position: Production Inventory Control & Forklift Leading Hand, 38 hours a week

Location: Villawood

Role starts: immediate Start

This role will require you to:

Reporting to Production Manager, the Production Inventory Control & Forklift Leading hand plays a pivotal role in our operations with the primary focus on ensuring the physical stock requirement for all production activities is always met in time efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure physical stock movement is done in a safe and efficient manner and that correct documentation is provided.

Regular checking of production job stock requirement & organise materials needed utilising the warehouse management system and dedicated scanning device.

Ensure the accurate counting, checking and scanning of goods, that inventory is put away in the designated lot location and maintain a FIFO stock rotation system.

Comply with HACCP & GMP practices.

Ensure product quality, complete quality checks accurately and consistently.

Be a part of the general periodical plant and equipment cleaning.

To be successful for this role you must:

Have a High reach Forklift licence and a proven experience in high reach forklift operations.

Have the experience in using scanning gun device.

Have a great attitude, excellent work ethic, genuine desire to operate to a high standard.

Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg, be able to hop on and off the forklift, and be okay with stairs.

Be okay with working in dusty/powder environments.

Available to work any shift assigned (Monday-Friday). Shift hours are 6:30am - 3:30pm.

Have a good level of English (read/understand/write).

Be willing to work in a team.

Attention to detail, accuracy, organized.

Ideally, have a food production experience.
