Restaurant Manager

As a Restaurant Manager, your role will involve:
● Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflow.
● Reporting directly to ownership, and working closely with the operations team. This role will require you to monitor food and beverage inventory, reduce waste, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
● Develop and uplift the culinary direction for each restaurant by collaborating with the head chefs to develop, refine, and implement menu offerings that will elevate the dining experience, and reflect the individual style of the venue.
● Mentor and inspire the head chefs and kitchen teams, fostering an environment of growth, creativity, pride, and teamwork.
● Manage inventory, budgeting, and food cost control for all locations, ensuring profitability without compromising quality.
● Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve food quality and service
Requirements:
● Proven experience as a Manager, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. Previous experience in hatted venues is a plus.
● A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus but not mandatory—understanding traditional Vietnamese ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques. Experience in preparing key dishes like phở, bún bò Huế, bánh mì, etc., is a plus.
● Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Vietnamese language skills could be a plus, especially for working with suppliers or Vietnamese-speaking staff
● Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff.
● Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance time effectively between the venues.
● Experience with budgeting, food cost control, and maintaining operational efficiencies.
