Growth Farms Australia is a privately owned asset management business which acquires and manages prime Australian agricultural assets on behalf of private and institutional investors.

Manor Estates Holding engages Growth Farms to manage its Balquhidder farming enterprises and is accountable for the effective implementation of the Farm Plan and daily operations.

The Role
An opportunity is available for a full-time station hand to work on a large-scale sheep and cattle operation an hour and a half from Adelaide on the coast at Tunkalilla, South Australia.

Reporting to the Farm Manager, the position will ideally suit a self-motivated individual looking to become part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Experience in monitoring livestock, including animal health, ensuring adequacy of feed & water, and implementing stock movements.
Experience in safe farm maintenance, mechanical applications, and operation of farm machinery/equipment.
Sound understanding of farm safety and experience with motor bikes is an advantage.
Ability to work autonomously to complete planned tasks efficiently.
Strong knowledge of animal welfare standards and documentation.

Be physically fit and able to fulfill all requirements of the role.
Working stock dogs would be an advantage.
Must hold a current drivers’ license.
