Responsibilities
Cut and shape stone using machines and hand tools
Select the best stone for the job
Lay stone paving
Construct walls using stone slabs
Repair stone facades
Design, cut, and carve masonry
Read and interpret blueprints and plans
Split and dress stone
Seal foundations with damp resistant materials
Spread layers of mortar to serve as base and binder for blocks
