Job Description:
The Mayfair is seeking a highly motivated and organized Events and Marketing Manager to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of event coordination and executing effective marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence and drive business growth. This is a hands-on position requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities Events Management:
Enquiry Management:
- Monitor the events inbox daily, promptly responding to all inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organised inbox with effective categorisation.
- Regularly check with Reception for any incoming event inquiries.
- Manage small bookings without food service using the designated booking system.

Event Coordination:
- Create detailed run sheets for all confirmed functions and distribute them to relevant departments (Reception, Bar, Kitchen).
- Develop comprehensive layout plans for events set up team.
- Ensure the kitchen receives all run sheets with final guest numbers and food requirements 7 business days prior to each event.
- Conduct meetings with potential event clients for consultations and planning.
Provide on-site support for events, including setup assistance, client liaison, and food service coordination.
- Manage the procurement of necessary event supplies (decorations, candles, tablecloths, etc.).
- Update Notion daily with event progress and details.

Marketing Management & Social Media Management:
- Check Notion daily for food specials and promotions (e.g., Schnitzel Mania).
- Promote weekly events (live music, trivia, etc.) across all platforms.
- Create engaging video content (4 TikToks weekly) incorporating trends, venue highlights, and promotions.
- Utilize existing content to develop compelling posts for Instagram and Facebook.
- Monitor and respond to Facebook and Instagram messages daily.

Online Reputation Management:
- Respond to Google Reviews on a weekly basis.

Networking and Outreach:
- Update the Linktin profile and actively connect with relevant businesses to promote The Mayfair's achievements and offerings.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
- Proficiency in social media marketing (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook).
- Creative and engaging content creation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Proficiency in using Notion (or similar project management tools) is desirable.

Benefits:
- 35-40+ hours per week.
- Accommodation available at $165 per week.
