Technician

General Functions and Tasks:
Mechanical assembly and basic RF and optical fibre testing.
· Perform mechanical assembly of RF communication systems.
· Perform general workshop duties.
· Learning new methods / undertake training where required to perform the duties.
· Perform various measurements on telecommunication equipment using RF, digital and mechanical test equipment.
· Adhere to the company’s policies regarding health and safety as well as other company policies.

Other duties as delegated from time to time.


Specific Functions and Tasks
· Preferred tertiary education in electrical or mechanical trade or other related discipline.
· Prior experience with the use of typical RF test instrumentation including Spectrum, PIM and Network Analysers desired but not essential.
