About the Role:
Our client, a respected family-run business in the telecommunications sector, is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Excavator Operator to join their growing team in Carrum Downs. This role will involve supporting a directional drilling crew and working in environments where live assets are present.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate excavators for trenching and earthworks
Work safely and efficiently around live utility assets
Support directional drill crews with excavation needs
Follow job specifications, safety guidelines, and site plans
Maintain a clean and organized machine and work area

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience working around live assets
Confident operating excavators in tight and sensitive areas
Willingness to work 50+ hours per week, including overtime if required
Strong understanding of safety procedures when working around utilities
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
