Opportunities exist for Support Workers to assist a client live his best life on Kangaroo Island. We are seeking new or experienced Support Workers

Are you looking for ongoing work on K.I and looking for a new challenge with an amazing team? Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity!

We have several opportunities for support workers to join our Kangaroo Island roster and work active overnight and day shifts.

You will be required to assist our client who has a high-level spinal cord injury with all aspects of his care needs.

Accommodation provided.

Suitable applicants will already have or be willing to obtain:

• Certificate III in Individual Supports, Disability Cert IV or equivalent or enrol in a course to obtain a relevant qualification
• NDIS Worker Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• First Aid and CPR certificate
• Manual Handling certificate
• Reliable vehicle, sound driving history and a valid driver’s licence
• Clear communication, negotiating and listening skills.
• Have a person-centred approach and are confident in your practice
• Right to work and available for immediate start.

• Travel expenses (KM’s from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island including ferry to & from the island
• Paid well above the Award
• Additional training that is relevant to our clients’ individual needs
• Training and ongoing support
