Barista / Cafe Allrounder

About us:

Kembali Cafe is located in the beautiful coastal town of Blueys Beach, NSW. We provide relaxed dining atmosphere with an Indonesian inspired menu and vibe. We pride ourselves on serving consistently great coffee and use Seven Miles Gusto blend. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch, we also open 2-3 nights per week during the warmer months.

The role includes:

Prepare and serve coffee at a consistently high level.
Maintain espresso machine and grinder to a high standard.
Prepare and serve all hot and cold beverages.
Serve cakes and slices etc.
Assist kitchen with food preparation, dishes etc.
Assisting with stock control and ordering for coffee + drinks department.
All front of house operations including; Taking orders, waiting tables, greeting customers warmly etc. Open and close procedures. Ensure front of house is clean & well presented at all times.

The successful applicant will:

Have hospitality experience, or be a fast learner with ability to multi-task.
Excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team.
Motivated and professional with a positive attitude.
Availability mid-week, weekends and school holidays. Early morning starts essential.
Best to have your own transport as very little public transport locally.
Unfortunately we cannot offer the 88 days as we're not classed as a remote hospitality location.
