Friendly, easy going family in Albury are looking for an Au Pair to help with the busy routine. The family offers a wonderful experience with your own private accommodation, use of car and generous pocket money!

Mum works from home and Dad runs their family business - their family life is busy and full but lots of fun. They have 4 children (one away at boarding school - girl aged 13) and two girls 11 & 9 at school and a boy aged 5 who is at pre-kindy 4 days a week.

They also have a miniature dachshund, who adores sleeping and cuddles!

The family live in a lovely large home on 22 acres, in Splitters Creek just 10 minutes from a regional town with a lovely community.

The au pair accommodation is a cottage separate to the house with kitchenette and ensuite. It is approximately 50m from the main house in its own private garden area.

The family love spending weekends working in the garden, swimming in the pool, or having bonfires. and enjoy socialising with our neighbours - they all have bikes too!
Weekends often include sport, catching up on things at home, social outings, or trips to local spots or Melbourne.
During holidays, they family travels and visit places like the Gold Coast (where Emily’s family lives), the South Coast of NSW, Melbourne, or they go skiing.

They would love to invite you with them on some of their trips!

There’s a lot to enjoy in their local area—winter skiing, summer waterskiing or boating, and exploring local towns with wineries, breweries, great food, and interesting history. Albury is just 10 minutes’ drive and has everything you’d expect from a regional town.

As an au pair, your main responsibilities will include:
Helping out in the afternoons and evenings—either getting the children to activities or being at home to assist with dinner, bath and bedtime routines
Spending time with the youngest boy on Fridays while the others are at school
Occasionally helping on weekends (with notice)
The family have hosted four au pairs before and have enjoyed the experiences

This would suit au pairs who are more mature, capable of living within a busy household, and enthusiastic about finding their own interests and exploring their surroundings. A love of the outdoors, animals and nature is also important.

This is a social town with lots of Au Pairs locally you will have plenty of friends!

Albury is a major regional city that is located in the Murray region of New South Wales and just 2 1/2 hours to Melbourne so you can easily head into Melbourne at the weekend and attend one of our Au Pair catch ups!
