Job Description

I am looking for someone or a couple who would like the opportunity to live on a working cattle, sheep and goat property in SWQ and help out with whatever is going on from attending to animals and cleaning out sheds with a small amount of domestic help. Animals, ( livestock and domestic) and garden are my priority’s to look after.  The garden watering is minimal as 80% is on pop ups. Dogs, horses and birds will need to be fed daily. Cattle require dry lick regularly. Regular checks to flood gates, fences and water troughs for livestock, is required.  Basic, fully furnished cottage with inside bathroom, telephone, wifi, TV, and aircon available or plenty of room for your own van. Property vehicle available for property work (unregistered so not suitable for town). 4WD vehicle advisable as a dirt road to town. It is not a 8-5 job expecting help 4-5 hours a day with the odd long day. The most suitable person would be confident around horses and able to ride, and have some farm experience and be a person that would love to experience the outback on a remote property. It would be a great opportunity to give yourself a base for a while without spending any money. Please email or phone for further information and photos.
