Lash Technician

As a skilled Lash Technician, you’ll be responsible for enhancing clients' natural beauty with expertly applied eyelash extensions. Using precision techniques, you’ll apply individual lashes to create a balanced, symmetrical, and natural look that complements each client’s unique style.
Beyond application, you’ll play an essential role in educating clients on proper aftercare, including cleaning techniques and tips for maintaining their lashes’ longevity without compromising the adhesive. Key Responsibilities:
Providing clients with post-treatment care instructions, such as not rubbing or touching the eyes for a specified period after treatment has been provided
Following all state regulations regarding sterilisation and disinfection procedures for equipment and supplies
Discussing clients’ options for lash styles that best suit their facial features and preferences
Maintaining cleanliness at all times to prevent exposure to infections and other harmful conditions
Providing information about aftercare products and how to use them properly
Providing information about post-treatment care, such as how long results should last or what to do if an infection occurs.
Cleaning clients’ eyelashes with an antimicrobial solution before application
Applying eyelash extensions using methods such as gluing individual synthetic lashes one by one to existing lashes with a specialised adhesive.

Qualifications and Skills:
Certificate III in hair and beauty
Strong communication skills to clearly explain the treatment process, expected results, and aftercare instructions to clients.
Ability to effectively collaborate with coworkers, ensuring seamless understanding and consistency in treatment approaches and outcomes.
Skilled in managing client information, appointment scheduling, and product inventory.
Ability to keep track of daily tasks, organise work efficiently, and monitor product levels to ensure timely reordering.
Exceptional customer service skills to create a welcoming and comfortable experience for clients.
In-depth understanding of lash products, including their ingredients, application techniques, and expected outcomes.
Ability to differentiate between products and recommend the best options tailored to each client’s needs.
