We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Hair & Beauty Apprentice to join our dynamic and client-focused salon team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work alongside seasoned professionals, and develop your skills through both in-salon practice and formal training.

? What You’ll Be Doing
Assist stylists with shampooing, conditioning, colouring, and styling for a variety of hair types.
Interact with clients by providing excellent service, from welcoming them to offering refreshments.
Support senior hairdressers during styling or cutting sessions, under supervision.
Help maintain salon cleanliness and organisation to ensure a professional environment.
Book and manage client appointments using our scheduling system.
Attend formal Aveda training sessions and learn to advise clients on suitable products.
Apply hair treatments and deliver head massages in line with salon standards.
Operate the point-of-sale system and assist in monitoring daily expenditures.
Stay updated on the latest hairdressing trends and best practices.

Fresha – for managing your appointments and client records
Payroller – for logging hours and processing payroll

✅ What We’re Looking For
Entry-Level Requirements:
No formal qualifications required.
A strong passion for hairdressing and a willingness to learn is essential.
Immediate availability is preferred.
Desirable Skills:
Manual dexterity and confidence working with tools
Keen attention to detail
Strong time management and ability to work flexible hours
Friendly and professional communication skills
A proactive and helpful attitude
Commitment to providing exceptional client care
Well-groomed appearance and professional presentation
Performance Goals
Deliver excellent service in cutting, colouring, and styling under supervision.
Work collaboratively with stylists, makeup artists, and other creatives for special projects (e.g., events, shoots, campaigns).
Uphold high standards in client care and salon hygiene.
Show initiative in learning and improving technical and customer service skills.
