Every year we have dozens of seasonal workers here on the farm. We are on Tasmania’s East Coast Wine Trail, located just 15 mins from the nearest township of Swansea. Freycinet National Park OR Bicheno is 40 minutes away suit people who want to explore. 1hr 45mins drive from either Hobart or Launceston.
We are a generational farming family producing award winning wines, that we showcase in our humble (pioneering cottage) cellar door in the rural town of Cranbrook. You must have great communication skills to be able to host our cellar door visitors through a wine tasting experience - an engaging personality & enjoy story-telling is a must!
The role is customer facing, it includes using a POS system, sales & packing orders, polishing glassware, opening & closing procedures, stocking & general cleaning & any other tasks assigned by the manager.
Once trained, you must be able to work confidently alone some days, be self motivated & reliable. We operate very friendly hours 10.30am to 4.30pm (so you could pick up night work elsewhere if you really wanted too). 5 days per week including bonus paying weekends! Casual Position Available base rate of 29.74 p/h Cellar Door Sales + Weekend Penalty rates!
We know it's really hard to get a place to stay, we do have accommodation for you here on the farm for a small nightly rate. This work can count towards your 88 days. We highly recommend you have your own car in this rural location as there is no transport to town...plus, we know you will want to explore the beautiful East Coast once your here! We are a very small team, but we care about our people & if you have any other skills you can bring to the role we would love to hear about them.
