Process Workers Needed

Smallgoods Manufacturing Factory Hiring – Wacol, Western Brisbane (NOT eligible to visa extension)

Direct hire by factory (not an agency). No fees involved.

We are a cold storage meat processing facility specializing in pork (mainly), chicken, and some beef products. No Q Fever vaccination required.

The production area operates in a cold environment (around 4°C). The company provides uniforms and all necessary protective equipment.

A full pre-employment medical check is required before starting work. Please ensure you are confident in passing the medical.

Due to limited public transport access in the area, having your own vehicle is strongly recommended.


Main Job Responsibilities:

- Packaging and weighing products on production lines

- Lifting boxes and dispatch work

- Processing and manufacturing meat products

- Forklift driver roles available for those with a valid Australian forklift licence and relevant experience


Work Hours:

- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, full-time positions

- Occasional overtime required

- Standard: 38 hours/week; during peak season, up to 40–50 hours/week

- Morning shift starts between 4:30 am – 6:30 am

- Afternoon shift starts between 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm

- For long-term visa holders, night cleaning shift starting around 9:00 pm may be available


Full Time Position Pay Rates (with paid annual leave and sick leave):

- Morning shift: 25.58/hour

- Afternoon shift: 29.42/hour

- Forklift driver pay: 26.92 ~ 32.91

- Superannuation provided
