Position: Bar & Gaming Attendant (31-45p.h)

The Grand Hotel Childers is on the lookout for a vibrant, reliable, and friendly Bar & Gaming Attendant to join our crew. We're a country pub with character, known for our welcoming atmosphere, top-notch service, and the Wide Bays best feeds – yes, we’re talking about our legendary Mongrel Meals!
What’s the gig?
You’ll be working across the bar and gaming areas, helping us deliver great experiences to locals and travellers alike.
Your role will include:
Pouring beers and mixing drinks with a smile
Assisting patrons in our gaming lounge (pokies, TAB, Keno)
Keeping things clean, safe, and running smoothly
Having a chat with our regulars and making everyone feel at home
What we’re looking for:
✅ RSA & RSG (essential) + High levels of English comprehension.
✅ Experience in bar/gaming/hospitality is a bonus, customer service experience preferred
✅ A friendly, down-to-earth attitude
✅ Good under pressure and great with people
✅ Willing to work nights, weekends, and across a flexible roster
