Reid Fruits has the longest cherry season in Tasmania, enabling you to earn great money over the whole summer! We have four orchards across Southern Tasmania - at Plenty in the Derwent Valley, Jericho in the southern midlands, and two in the lush Huon Valley.
The timing of the cherry season varies each year and is dependent on the weather and the volume of fruit to be picked. However, picking usually begins at the start of December and goes through to early to mid-February. The packing shed operates throughout this whole period and offers a great work experience!
