Rigger – High-rise Construction

Job Description:

We are seeking qualified and experienced Riggers to join our team on high-rise construction projects across Perth, Western Australia. The role involves safely lifting, moving, and positioning heavy loads, equipment, and structural materials using cranes and rigging systems.

Responsibilities include:

Attaching and detaching loads using rigging equipment such as slings, chains, and shackles
Directing crane operators using hand signals or radios to ensure safe and accurate load movement
Reading and interpreting lift plans, blueprints, and load charts
Selecting and inspecting rigging gear to meet safety standards and load requirements
Assisting with the erection of formwork, structural steel, and scaffolding
Working closely with crane operators, carpenters, and supervisors to meet project timelines

Ideal candidates will have:

Strong understanding of rigging safety, load management, and high-risk site protocols
Dogging/Rigging tickets and Working at Heights certification (preferred)
Team-focused attitude, clear communication skills, and the ability to work safely under pressure
