Bar Attendant

Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our team starting ASAP at our charming country pub in Queensland. The ideal candidates will have prior experience in bar service and a strong commitment to teamwork, ensuring our patrons receive exceptional service in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities: – Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, Wines and soft drinks. – Provide excellent customer service, engaging with patrons and ensuring a positive experience. – Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils. – Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction. – Handle cash and electronic payments accurately. – Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) practices. – Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.

Qualifications: – Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is required. – Strong communication and interpersonal skills. – Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work atmosphere. – Knowledge of cocktails, wines, and beers is preferred. – Must possess a valid RSA certificate

Yungaburra Hotel is a 115yr old Hotel in the lovely village of Yungaburra located 1 hour from Cairns on the Atherton Tablelands. The Hotel is opened 7 days a week between 11am till 10pm Monday to Friday and 10am-12am weekends.
