Are you a passionate, experienced chef ready to take on a new challenge? We’re on the lookout for a Qualified Chef to join our team at our busy, well-loved pub located in the heart of the stunning Gemfields, Central Queensland Highlands.
About the Role:
As Chef, you'll be responsible for maintaining efficient kitchen operations, maintaining food quality and hygiene standards and working with a small team in a fast-paced, high-volume pub environment.
This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who loves classic pub fare with a twist, thrives under pressure and takes pride in serving up great food every time.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience as a Chef in a pub or similar high-volume kitchen
• Ability to work with a small kitchen team
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen management
• Creative flair for menu planning and specials
• Reliability, consistency, and a genuine passion for hospitality

Bistro, Bar , Bottleshop, Gaming and accommodation. Our busiest time of year is in the cooler months but we also have a strong local clientele and plenty passing through at all times of year.
