Job Description

We are seeking an experienced cook or chef to join our team.

In the kitchen the following skills are needed:
- great time management
- ability to work individually or as a team
- experience cooking with deep fryers, pizza ovens, grill and pans
- experience prepping including butchering duties (or ability to learn)
- assist with functions
- adherence to Food Safety Standards
- a Food Handling certificate for Queensland

This position offers between 35-38 hours a week.

Accommodation can be provided if required. The closest town with a grocery store is 42kms (30 minutes) away. There is a bus that goes to town, however, it is advised that the applicant have their own vehicle.

Description:
Busy country pub owned and run by young couple Danny & Natalie. They purchased the pub just over 12 months ago and since then they have done a number of renovations & refurbishments to update the old pub and breath some life back into the place. It is now thriving with locals regularly popping in for coffee, drinks and/or dinner. Travellers also camp overnight and visit the hotel both for lunch & dinner.
