Join our team at Icaro Café, a wholefood kitchen in beautiful Apollo Bay, where we serve nourishing, South American–inspired food made with local, seasonal produce and love for the earth.

We create food the way nature intended — free from refined sugars, seed oils, and fillers — and we’re looking for a creative, reliable chef who shares our ethos to help bring our night time menu to life as we will be opening restaurant/bar space come December.

// ABOUT THE ROLE

Daytime hours only for now - until we open nights in December (7:30am–3pm) — enjoy your afternoons on the beach or in the rainforest.

Vegetarian and vegan menu with South American influence (think chipotle labne, roasted vegetables, finger lime, manchengo, cacao, quinoa, and Australian bushfoods).

You’ll work closely with our Head Chef and Manager, to deliver high-quality, consistent, and beautifully plated food.

// WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- An experienced chef who values fresh produce and clean food.
- Someone organised and collaborative, able to run service confidently.
- Passion for wholefoods, native and South American flavours a big plus!
- Great communication and pride in your craft.
- Ability to commit for at least 6 months
- Ideally you will have a car due to the location and needing a car to enjoy it to its fullest potential.
