Located in the heart of beautiful Lorne, Victoria, SALONIKA SOCIAL is a pizzeria restaurant renowned for our hand-stretched sourdough pizzas, seasonal entrees, and Italian-inspired desserts & live music on Saturday nights.

Position: Senior Chef (Full-Time)
We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Senior Chef to join our close-knit, family-run team. If you thrive in a busy, open kitchen and want to be part of something special, we would love to hear from you.
What You Can Bring to the Team:
* A trade-qualified Chef with at least 2 years experience in a culinary leadership role
* Adaptable, organised, and professional with a keen eye for detail
* Skilled in cooking both pizza and à la carte seasonal menu items
* Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
* High standards in food quality, consistency, and presentation
* Expertise in cost control, menu development, and kitchen management
* Experience and knowledge in hand-stretching pizza, dough production, and dough management
* Ability to work in a busy open kitchen, maintain a well-presented appearance, and uphold safe food handling and hygiene standards
What You will Be Doing:
* Co-lead day-to-day kitchen operations with energy, pace, and precision
* Mentor, train, and develop your kitchen team
* Drive innovation and maintain consistency across all menu items
* Manage food costs, stock, and compliance reporting
* Help shape a positive, productive team culture
