Job Description
Seeking a casual Apiary Hand to assist with our 2025 season, this position is located in Temora NSW 2666 Australia.
About the role:
Working in our wholly owned subsidiary company, Australian Rainforest Honey, the role of the Casual Apiary Hand is required to follow direction and assist with general apiary operations.
Duties include but not limited to:
-Assisting the Apiarist team in general beekeeping/apiary operations
-Manual handling
-Outdoor work
-Shift work
-Willingness to rotate to other areas of the business
Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience:
-Display a positive “can do, will do” attitude
-Be prepared to work outdoors
-Be flexible to work shift work and weekends as required
-Be prepared to travel with a team on Apiarists during your work hours to the Apiary locations
-Demonstrate effective communication skills
-Work effectively as part of a team
-Demonstrate commitment to safety first culture
-Carry out responsibilities with due care

What You Should Know About Our Operations
Our business is widespread, growing walnuts and almonds in the Riverina Region in New South Wales, pecans in Moree and macadamias, avocados, mangoes in Bundaberg, Queensland. In addition to fruit and nut growing, we also operate apiaries located in Temora, Nowra and Dubbo.
Off the paddock, we operate nut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba and Bundaberg as well as fruit packing and processing in Bundaberg and a honey packing facility in Nowra. In addition, our shared services teams (Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety and People & Culture) are located across all of our sites as well as the Brisbane, Melbourne and Griffith offices.
