Newmat Australia is an innovative industry leader for over 24 years in our field. We are based in Artarmon, Sydney and deliver inhouse design, fabrication and installation of state of the art, acoustic, backlit and mirror light box solutions for commercial and high end residential projects.
Joining our small workshop team, you will work in collaboration with other workshop based trades;

- Interpret drawings, fabricate, build, and undertake low voltage wiring and LED installation for prototypes, light boxes.
- Receiving and dispatching of equipment, materials and finished products per established procedures,
- Consumables inventory management and delivering materials to site and suppliers across Sydney Metro area.
- Delegating tasks to less experienced team members with a focus on balancing resource utilisation and prioritisation with project deadliness.
- Project kiting, materials, and component preparation for site based installation teams.

You enjoy working independently in a well-oiled team and confidently work well under pressure. Significant experience in a production based environment associated with lighting, shop filling, or signage solution’s with a high-quality finish will set you up for success in this role.

We supply all tools and equipment and operate Monday to Friday 8 hours per day. You must have a current, driver's license, White Card and willing to apply a continuous improvement approach to your work.
