🌙 Nightshift Receptionist – MOM Darwin Hostel 🌙

Join the team at MOM Darwin, one of the Northern Territory’s largest and most vibrant hostels, as our Nightshift Receptionist during our quieter wet season period! We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and self-motivated individual to help keep the hostel running smoothly overnight and ensure our guests have a safe and comfortable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver exceptional customer service during late check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
* Monitor security systems and ensure the safety and well-being of guests and property.
* Manage front desk operations including phone calls, emails, and reservations.
* Respond confidently to emergencies and follow hostel protocols.
* Work independently and make sound decisions in the absence of supervision.
* Adapt to a dynamic environment, handling challenges with professionalism and calm.

Skills & Experience:

* Previous experience in a night audit or front desk role (preferred but not essential).
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.
* Comfortable working autonomously and managing time effectively.
* Familiarity with hotel systems (Opera experience a plus!) and basic accounting principles.
