Farm Work – Piggery Labourer – November 2025
Do you love getting down and dirty and enjoy working outdoors? Ever thought, “I could totally work on a pig farm”? Well—now’s your chance!
Blantyre Farms is a vibrant, family-owned and operated piggery, and we're on the lookout for two energetic individuals to join our feed production and pig husbandry teams. With 2,000 sows in a farrow-to-finish operation, we’re all about hard work, teamwork, and a bit of fun along the way.
No experience? No problem! We’ll teach you everything you need to know. Just bring a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing:
• Caring for pigs across all stages – breeding, farrowing, vaccinations, treatments, and movements
• Cleaning pens and general farm tidying
• Basic preventive and reactive maintenance tasks
• Turning supermarket and food production waste into healthy, nutritious pig feed
