Hi,

I have an empty, furnished house in Yass NSW (50 mins from Canberra). I'm looking for backpackers who may wish to live there for a few weeks in exchange for 14 hours gardening per week (less if you have housemates).

You could pretty easily pick up paid work in Canberra (50 minutes away by car, some infrequent buses dun between Yass and Canberra). It might suit backpackers looking for somewhere free to stay for a few weeks while they save.

The house has 4 bedrooms and is old but nicely renovated and furnished. The garden is large and full of weeds and I'm slowly working on it. I don't live there - you would have the house to yourselves.

The house would usually rent for about 500 per week plus bills, so I'm basically offering to exchange about 40 per hour off the rent for gardening.
