Job Description
We are looking for a capable cook or chef who can jump in, take charge and help elevate the country pub experience and turn the kitchen into a regional destination for tasty classic meals.
Role:
- Create and cost new menu items that are simple, tasty, and profitable
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, prep, and service
- Manage stock ordering, inventory, supplier relationships and food costs
- Implement systems to streamline service, reduce waste, and improve efficiency
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with the initiative to manage independently
- Food Safety Cert required
