Eslin Sustainable Living & Learning Centre Retreat; Moina (near Cradle Mountain), Tasmania
My offer is for those who would want to have a Wwoofing type experience, for a limited number of working hours. Accommodation and food/meals are covered and inclusive as part of any arrangement we might make.
The offer is for a one to three month placement for an individual or a couple to perform many different sustainable farming work tasks including; animal care – land maintenance tasks - firewood harvesting – organic food growing and production – construction – fencing, and many other tasks that require out attention. After a successful initial application is received, a phone interview will be arranged.
Eslin is more suited for people looking for a different experience. There is much to learn for those who have an interest in the esoteric and the mysteries of life. There is amazing country to explore, with the last great expanse of temperate rainforest left in the world. There is much that can be learned about sustainable living, natural environment, organic food growing systems, living simply & living with nature and our animals.
It is my hope that a stay at Eslin would be a welcome stop on your adventure and life journey, as it has been for many others. A stipend of 200 dollars will be gifted at the end of each four week period to the successful applicant in recognition of their contributions. Be aware that our sub-alpine climate can be cool even in summer. Applicants should be physically fit and able to work in a mountainous environment. Warm clothing and good footwear are essential.
