🐾🏠 Live-In Helper – Dog Breeding & Childcare (Albury, NSW)

Please note: this job isn’t suitable for the 88 visa. I’m hoping to find someone that can stay a minimum of 6 months.


This is a fun, hands-on role with plenty of variety — you won’t get bored! The job mainly involves caring for our dogs and puppies and keeping the puppy room and dog runs clean, with some childcare for our 9-month-old boy while I get some job done or we have a date night.



What You’ll Do

• Feed and care for our dogs and puppies

• Keep whelping areas and dog runs clean

• Help socialise and play with puppies (the best part!)

• Maintain the yard and assist with general property upkeep

• Help with whelping litters and creating content for our dog breeding social media

• Care for our baby at times so Mum can work or parents can have a night out

• Light housework — just helping us keep things tidy

• I do most of the cooking, but if you enjoy cooking and can contribute sometimes, that would be appreciated!


What We Offer


🏡 Private room with kitchenette, laundry, and mostly private bathroom (occasional guests)

🍽️ Breakfast and dinner provided — we eat a wholefood, mostly organic diet

🚗 Use of vehicle for errands (must have a driver’s licence)

💰 30–38 hours per week in exchange for accommodation, meals, Wi-Fi, car use, and a stipend


About Us

We’re a couple in our early 30s with a 9-month-old baby boy. We’re a Christian family, we are close with both our families who live locally. We love to travel and often take weekend trips in our caravan — you’ll have the house to yourself when we’re away!

We’re looking for a female only who’s reliable, easy-going, and enjoys a mix of animal care, light housework, and a bit of childcare. Perfect for a backpacker or traveller looking for a longer stay and a genuine Aussie family experience.

I’ve been an au pair three times overseas myself, so I know what live-in work is like! We’re excited to welcome someone into our family and give you a great experience here.
