Job Description
We have a furnished granny flat 20 minutes drive from Canberra CBD. We're looking for friendly backpackers who’d like free accommodation in exchange for volunteering in the garden. If you're looking for a place to stay while you save some money or find a job, this would be good. We expect to be continue with renovations on the one bedroom granny flat but it is fully furnished. Great for students.
If you can help us with about 10 hours of gardening per week, you’ll have rent-free use of a granny flat for your time in Canberra. The garden needs a bit of a clean up so the work would mostly be cleaning up and general outdoor jobs. Nothing requiring specialist skills, just a few hours daily of effort.
The main house is let to tenants, but you will enjoy your privacy away down quite a long yard. I would suppose that the property could rent for around 300 per week plus bills.
Plenty of space to be respectful and independent while you save on accommodation while traveling. Send us a message :)
