Draftperson

You will be responsible for:
Producing accurate and detailed technical drawings (2D plans, elevations, sections) for new pool and spa construction using CAD software.
Ensuring design compliance with Northern Territory building codes, council regulations, and the Modified Australian Standard for Pool Safety Barriers (AS 1926).
Translating client and Sales Consultant concepts into buildable, fully dimensioned working drawings and specifications.
Preparing comprehensive submission packages for local council permit applications and builder use.
Detailing all ancillary systems, including plumbing runs, equipment location (pumps, filters, heaters, etc.), and pool finishes.
Collaborating with the construction and service teams to resolve technical queries during the build phase.

You will have:
Proven experience in architectural or civil drafting is required, with knowledge of pool/landscape design being highly desirable.
Expert proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting programs).
A strong understanding of Australian building standards and local NT regulations, particularly relating to pool and spa safety barriers.
Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to precise technical documentation.
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict documentation deadlines.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external certifiers.
