Hospitality All Rounder

We are seeking a new staff member to join our team from the 10th December.

The role we are looking to fill is Food & Beverage Attendant, Kitchen Attendant and Guest Services Attendant.

The duties required in these roles are as follows:
Food & Beverage Attendant
- friendly customer service
- responsible service of alcohol (Qld RSA required)
- taking meal orders and hotel bookings
- handling cash and EFTPOS transactions
- opening and closing duties

Guest Services duties
• Laundry and/or linen duties
• General cleaning duties (including cleaning of the hotel floors, hotel amenities, guest rooms, tourist park amenities & guest cabins)
• Servicing accommodation areas and cleaning thereof
• Cleaning duties using specialised equipment and chemicals

Kitchen Attendant duties:
• general cleaning duties within a kitchen or food preparation area and scullery, including the cleaning of cooking and general utensils & equipment used in a kitchen and restaurant
• assisting employees who are cooking;
• assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking; and
• general pantry duties
• waiting & clearing tables

This person would need to be able to work on their own and in a team. We are country pub with a reputation for a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and top quality meals. We pride ourselves on our reputation and love staff that join our team to have pride in their work and to strive for excellence with us.

We provide accommodation for staff in a share house, with private room, but shared living quarters. It is advised that staff have a vehicle as we are 42kms from the nearest grocery store. If staff don't have their own vehicle it can be arranged to get a lift to town when other teams members are going, or there is a bus service that runs daily during the week.

Please note we close from 23rd December to 3rd November so you can have Christmas and New Years off!
