Multiple Quality Controllers - Orchard Operations
Location: Goulburn Valley / Shepparton Region
Employment Type: Casual - full time hours, Seasonal (until June 2026)

We are seeking multiple Quality Controllers to join our orchard and packing operations team for the upcoming season. These hands-on roles involve working across cherries, stone fruit, and apples, ensuring all produce meets required quality standards and supporting field and shed staff in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and monitor fruit quality, identifying pests, diseases, and defects.
Conduct quality testing (brix, pressure, size, colour, starch, etc.).
Communicate daily quality standards and specifications to staff.
Ensure accurate completion of all quality control and production records.
Report and investigate any quality issues or non-conformances.
Support and guide field teams to achieve quality, yield, and pack-out targets.
What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in horticulture, ideally with cherries, stone fruit, or apples.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy.
Computer literacy (Word, Excel, data entry).
Ability to identify fruit defects and assess product quality.
Desirable:

Experience with major retailer standards (e.g., Coles, Woolworths).
Familiarity with quality control systems or apps such as Fresh Cloud.
