Cook/bar/all Rounder

Come join our amazing team on Norfolk Island, we are looking for staff to fill our summer team - 3-6 months min.

Salty Beer Garden is a family friendly pub with regular live music events and a chill vibe. We are looking for a hardworking and committed person to complete our Salty team in the kitchen/bar (1 position).

The successful applicant must have:

Kitchen - experience in working in a busy kitchen, ability to food prep, comfortable using commercial fryer and grill, cooking and plating meals and be knowledgeable on food safety techniques, it involves all aspects of running a fast paced kitchen.

Bar - strong cocktail making skills, knowledge of common Australian beverages, high level customer service, all rounder, clearing tables, taking food orders and assisting kitchen in busy periods.

Salty is located on Norfolk Island - a 2hr flight from Sydney or Brisbane. With a resident population of just over 2000, the Island's main hustle and bustle is tourism. The successful applicant must have plenty of hospitality experience and be driven to learn about our amazing Island and be respectful of the Norfolk Island culture and traditions.
